AATC Announces New Season — Now With More Cowboy

General2 comments

So coming off the run of Cowboy Versus Samurai in Seattle, here’s some new news — San Francisco’s Asian American Theater Company has announced its 2006-2007 season, and there’s plenty of Cowboy to go around!

I’m really happy about this for the following reasons:

  • San Francisco is my home town. It’ll be nice to share the play with old friends in the city that is closest to my heart.
  • AATC is a very long running and venerable organization that is currently going through an amazing resurgence, and it is an honor to be a part of their season.
  • Cowboy opens on July 12th, 2007, which also happens to be my birthday. Which is good because now I don’t have to plan anything.

Next up in AATC’s season is Yankee Dawg You Die with George Takei, and after that is an excellent Diana Son play called “Stop Kiss”. So please spread the word, and I will see you in the Bay Area this summer.

so i’m having this daydream, as i type, that one day I’ll wake up and have this magical talent and chemistry for theater and musicals, and be in your play! hahaha! and then I could peer through the stage lights and make out the glint of your pirate glasses in the audience. wouldn’t that be cool!????

My daydreams are fairly simple and mostly consist of ham sandwiches.
