I Like This Barack Obama Fellow

Check out our Prez, Mr. Barack Obama. He’s the only guy in the pic of G20 leaders that’s smiling. Everyone else is distracted or looks depressed. Some guy on the right is even adjusting his Bluetooth headset or something. Gordon Brown (lower right, blue tie) is like, “Where are me crumpets?!!” Sarkozy (lower left, blue shirt) is looking all Clouseau-esque and befuddled. But not our guy! Our Barack Obama is just happy to be there.

Plus yesterday Michelle Obama got in hot water for touching on the Queen. I think our First Lady should touch whatever she wants. Including our hearts.

There’s a great segment here about how the FDIC goes about taking over a failing bank. They’re incredibly precise and efficient, turning the bank over and putting it back in business (under new ownership) over the course of a single weekend. Very worthy listening.
